Seungbeom Kim 김승범

Seungbeom Kim is an Associate Professor in the College of Business Administration at Hongik University. His research bridges behavioral science and data science to study operations management, revenue management, quality management, and customer experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California (dissertation on bounded rationality and revenue management), his M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University, and his B.S. in Industrial & Management Engineering from POSTECH.

He has led applied projects with companies and public institutions including Apple Korea, LG Uplus, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Seoul Business Agency, LH Seoul Regional Headquarters, and the Defense Agency for Technology and Quality. He has separately carried out research grants from foundations such as the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) and the Jungseok Logistics Foundation. He is a Co-Founder of Unimindlab, a disability-inclusive technology company, and served as Department Chair (2024–2025), Deputy Director of the Convergence and Open Sharing System for Biohealth (2023–2025), and Director of the Career Development Service & Counseling Center (2020–2022) at Hongik University.

김승범 교수는 홍익대학교 경영대학 부교수로, 행동과학과 데이터과학을 기반으로 운영 관리, 수익 관리, 품질 경영, 고객 경험을 연구합니다. University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business에서 운영관리 전공으로 박사 학위를(논문 주제: 제한된 합리성과 수익 관리), Columbia University에서 운영과학(Operations Research) 석사, POSTECH에서 산업경영공학 학사 학위를 취득했습니다.

Apple Korea, LG Uplus, 행정안전부, 서울산업진흥원, LH 서울지역본부, 국방기술품질원 등 다양한 기업·기관과 응용 프로젝트를 수행했습니다. 또한 한국연구재단, 정석물류학술재단 등 여러 연구재단의 과제도 별도로 수행했습니다. 장애 포용 기술 기업 유니마인드랩의 공동창업자(Co-Founder)이며, 홍익대 경영대학 학과장(2024–2025), 바이오헬스 융합·개방공유체계 부단장(2023–2025), 취업진로지원센터장(2020–2022)을 역임했습니다.
